More info soon.
Finally I will be teaching a photography workshop in Pueblo. It will be on Saturday Oct 16 at PCC.
The cost is only $39.00 and I am guessing that it will fill up quickly so sign up now.

I been hearing this a lot lately. It goes something like this, “Hey Paul, now that you are doing all of this fancy pants arty stuff, do you still do senior portraits?”
My answer is not really. If I have worked with you before or someone has referred you to me then maybe but I am really just focusing on my fine art work and my farm.
This July 4th weekend I will be at Art in the Park in La Veta. I will be selling my older photo prints for up to 75% off.
Come by and get one or two before they are all gone.
At the beginning of the year I thought I would focus on fine art and teaching while putting the wedding photography in the background. Well it is now mid year so lets see how it is going.
1. Fine art.
Show at the Art Center and a solo show at Solar Roast. Several new series done with several more soon. Not bad but I thought I would be further along by now. I am going to do Art in the Park in La Veta. That is always a good show for me.
2. Teaching.
Had to cancel my July/Aug workshop because of other projects and I need to help my wife at our farmer market booths.
Finally got a teaching slot at PCC and will have my first photography workshop there in the fall.
A little set back but overall I am happy.
3. Weddings.
Only three summer weddings all of which were booked a looooong time ago. Turned down tons more in Jan/Feb.
So I have a very little summer and that has given me the time to focus on other stuff: art, farm, etc.
But in the last few weeks I have been getting a lot of calls and emails about fall wedding so I have decided to do a couple of them.
What the heck. They are fun to do and if I am only doing a few I won’t get overwhelmed like in years past.
I am focused on my fine art this year but I still have a couple of weddings to do. Over the weekend I photographed one of my brides up in the mountains near Rye, CO. Meghan is a beautiful bride and did a great job of posing and walking in heels thru the forest : >.
Today it is raining so I decided to make some changes to the website. Since I can’t be outside, I’ll update my photos.
Tammy and I live on a small farm in rural Colorado. I love it here but one of my challenges has been finding good models. For my images to work, I require intense and sort of crazy models that are still pretty. Frankly, it is the models that do all of the work. I just get an idea and let them run with it.
So I am very happy because recently I have had the good fortune to find some fun new talent. I am going to be adding several new pages on my site to showcase this new work and of course some of the older favorites.
Last night was the opening of the Crossing the Lines show that I am part of. The turn out was amazing. The Art Center actually had to turn the lights out to get people to leave at the end of the night. Great show. Here is my triptych that is on display. If you are in Pueblo, CO or will be go check out the show at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center.
I am working on several new projects for 2010 and I need some models. So if you like my work, are in Colorado and are interested in working with me to create some cool new images, please call or email me for more info.
